Blackjack is built around card values. The goal is usually to get as close to 21 as possible without going over.
Card values
- Number cards are worth their number.
- Face cards are worth 10.
- Aces can count as 1 or 11.
What is blackjack?
A two-card blackjack is an ace plus a 10-value card. In a standard deck, that is one of the most recognizable card events.
Why simulate blackjack?
Simulating hands is useful for understanding card values, expected outcomes, streaks, and how quickly small sample sizes can differ from long-term averages.
